Choose which categories you would like to include for sorting. After starting, simply click the character that you prefer among the two shown, or, if you equally like/dislike/don't care/don't know about both characters, you can select the "tie" option. Once all the matches have been solved (or tied), a list of your favorite characters will be automatically generated. Selecting either, or both, Playable Characters and Notable NPCs categories will cause the choosing process to be longer (roughly 30 minutes to an hour).

Regarding Screenshots: When taking screenshots of your results, zooming in or out of the page may help out how you want the screenshot to look like. (May not be applicable for mobile users)

Tip: Select Playable and Upcoming for all notable characters, select Amphoreus along with those two to get all Amphoreus characters. You may also select Collaboration Characters, Character Alts, Notable NPCs, and Aeons if you want. The rest of the categories are just there if you wish to sort characters only in those categories, such as knowing the order of your favorite Chrysos Heir (Amphoreus).

Regarding Category Sorting: If you were to pick an Element Category (ie: Fire) and a Path Category (ie: Destruction)- you won't just get Destruction Fire characters (Firefly), but rather all Fire and all Destruction characters. Keep this in mind when choosing categories.

Regarding Upcoming Characters: Upcoming Characters are characters that have been announced as playable by HoYoverse, at some point in time. These characters will appear in all categories that apply to them.

Regarding Collaboration Characters: Collaboration Characters, aka Characters that are featured in collaborations with the game and implemented in as units, will only be visible if you select the "Collaboration Characters" category. These characters will not appear in any other category.

Regarding Character Alts: This is for all Playable characters that have a variant of themselves, such as Trailblazer (Stelle and Caelus) and their different Paths/Elements. These characters will show up in their respective Path/Elements, but will not show up if you were to select just the Playable category. This is for those who wish to sort their favorite characters, but don't want to sort multiple of the same character (March 7th and March 7th Xianzhou Edition) because they are the same character (what counts and what doesn't is up to my discretion).

Regarding Notable NPCs: NPCs in the sorter will only be visible if you select the "Notable NPCs" category. These characters will not appear in any other category (unless they're part of Amphoreus and the Annihilation Gang). Send a message if you want a specific NPC to be added. You may or may not be denied (up to my discretion), but I usually don't say no, so feel free to try. Please note that if they have not been shown visually and only in text they cannot be added in the sorter because I rely on images for this sorter to work.

Group Classification is based on the official site.
